The band now have their own website. The site is still under development & is in no way finished, so please call by have a look. Comments most welcome.
Had a look at the website you've been putting together, taking shape nicely, like the photo of Flookburgh Sq. Must get you to do one for our band. Lee...
I attended the Celebrity Concert in Grange tonight. I thought the concert was excellent. The band is playing to a really high standard and the repertoire for this evening was a good balance of musical styles. Tom's playing was excellent and it was good to hear him speak of how he had "come through the ranks" of the band before taking his music degree. At the start, I had wondered whether there would be a programme of the concert. However, having the items introduced to the audience with a little bit of background information made it all so much more interesting.
Hi to Flookburgh Band, well must admit I had to Google Map your location! What a lovely place to live. Love the website easy to navigate & the history pages are so interesting, great to see small bands are still surviving.

Thankyou for a great evening.
A nice website. I enjoyed reading the history.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to read about the high pitch instruments being changed in 1970.
